Welcome to the
School of Mortgage Lending

One of very few such schools in the nation, the School's programs are well known for breadth and quality. The School offers an array of correspondence and online courses in the many and varied areas of mortgage lending. Students can choose courses such as the Principles of Mortgage Origination, FHA/VA Lending Basics, Conventional Processing, Underwriting the Conventional Loan, and more. Our learning system combines the best of correspondence and online delivery methods. The student receives a comprehensive text, in manual form, which can be used long after the course is finished. And by utilizing the technology of online homework processing, the student benefits from the efficiency and convenience of the electronic age. Many of our students tell us they find the textbook invaluable as a desk reference.

 

Because mortgage lending is an industry that is highly dependent upon regulatory compliance and federal standards, the School makes sure its courses are regularly updated. We continually seek authors and developers of contemporary lending programs. The School is committed to the highest standards of professional training and its programs are known for their depth and completeness. As a result our courses are offered through several colleges across the county.

The School of Mortgage Lending was established in 1991 in Seattle Washington by Susan Williams, a seasoned mortgage lending executive.
